PROCEDURE:

• Place a protective covering over your work area.
• Lay your flowers, leaves, and other materials such as Baby's Breath out in like groups.
• Prepare your roses by wiring them. Cut stems as necessary.
• Pre-wired dried leaves can now be added back to your roses. Place the leaves where you want them to be on the stem, wrap the wire around the stem wire and using floral tape, tape in place.
• Wire several groups of Baby's Breath together and add stem wires, wrapping each group with floral tape.

PREPARE YOUR CONTAINER

If using a low bowl, insert a piece of stryrofoam, large enough to hold the stem wires. Use floral clay to hold it in place. Press the floral clay into the bottom of the bowl and then press the styrofoam onto the clay, making sure that is is well secured. Cover the styrofoam with moss.

Follow the design directions below to create a low arrangement of roses to display on a table or coffee table. An arc shape is best for this. To create the arc, the flowers should be low in the container and a little wider than the container.

• Place the first rose in the center of the container (about 1 - 2 times the height of the container)
• Working outward from the center, place the next roses to the right and left of the center rose, continuing down in height until you reach the top edge of the container.
• The last ros should be inserted horizontally and should extend about 1 1/2 - 2" beyond the edge of the container.
• Go back to the center top rose and begin placing roses in the same manner down the front and back of the arrangement, again placing the last row horizontally in the styrofoam.
• Fill in the empty spaces with more roses and Baby's Breath.
• Add a co-ordinating bow to soften the arrangement.
